- Victoria:
Hi, you've reached your business. This is Victoria. What can I help with?

- Caller:
Our pool turned green and we have a birthday party Saturday. Can someone come this week? We're at 742 Sandpiper Lane in Goleta.
- Victoria:
Got it, 742 Sandpiper Lane in Goleta. We're in Goleta on Thursdays, so a tech can come tomorrow between 9 and 11. A green pool can take more than one visit; roughly how big is yours?

- Caller:
Regular backyard pool, maybe fifteen by thirty. I'm Kelly Brandt, 805-555-0174. Could they quote weekly service while they're there?
- Victoria:
I've added the weekly quote to the visit notes, Kelly. You're set for tomorrow, 9 to 11, and your confirmation text is on its way.

- Caller:
Perfect, thanks.

Questions people ask
Don't see yours? Ask Victoria during the assessment, or call (805) 970-2936.
Can she sign up new weekly customers?
She books the first visit on the day you're in their area and notes the pool size and equipment; adding them to your weekly route stays with you. Weekly pricing can be one of the ranges you choose to share.
We get pool leads from Thumbtack and Yelp. Can Victoria handle them?
Thumbtack leads, yes: she texts or calls each one within seconds of the alert, books the first visit and sends you the summary. A homeowner looking for weekly service usually asks several pool companies at once and goes with the first that answers. Yelp hides the customer's contact details, so for a Yelp request she lets you know the moment it lands and you reply in Yelp first.
What does it cost for a route business?
Count the calls your techs take at pools in a normal week: that's the volume she takes off their hands, and what the free 2-minute assessment works your price out from. Victoria can answer just calls, or texts, email, chat and DMs too. If you're not happy in the first 30 days, we refund your first monthly payment.
Does she answer after hours and on weekends?
Yes, 24/7. A Sunday-evening call about a pump that won't prime goes onto Monday's schedule or rings through to you, depending on your rules. If someone has been hurt at a pool, she reads your wording first, for example: “Hang up and call 911.”
More questions (4)Fewer questions
Does she speak Spanish?
Yes. She follows whichever language the caller uses, so an HOA manager can report a failed chlorine or pH inspection in Spanish, and the readings the inspector flagged go into your summary.
Will customers know it's an AI?
If a customer asks, she says she's an AI assistant for your pool company. She hasn't seen the pool, so questions about the water get a booked visit or a note in your summary.
We use Skimmer or Pool Brain. Does she connect?
Mention it in the assessment; what connects gets checked on the setup call. Either way she books one-time visits into the calendar we set up with your area days, and anything that changes your weekly route comes to you in the summary for you to enter. If you'd rather have stops land in your route software automatically, we can quote that as a custom build.
What do I need to get started?
One setup call with Nathaniel Ross, our founder, in person if you're in the Santa Barbara area, or by phone from anywhere else in the U.S. Bring the days you work each neighborhood, the prices or ranges you want her to give (a green-pool cleanup, a filter clean), your hours, what counts as urgent and the safety wording you want read. Before any customer reaches her, you can call in and try her yourself.
The details
In short
Your tech is halfway through a filter clean when a homeowner calls about a green pool and a party on Saturday.
Victoria checks the address against the days you work each area and books the cleanup on one of them, so the filter clean keeps going.
What gets in the way
The phone costs you stops.Green pools don't wait for Monday.Commercial pools come with a logbook.Customers call to ask if you came.
The phone costs you stops
A tech who answers the phone at a pool isn't brushing, testing or driving to the next stop. Let it ring and it goes to voicemail; answer it and the route runs late.
Green pools don't wait for Monday
A pool that turns green before a weekend party is a same-week cleanup, and sometimes a new weekly customer, and the homeowner wants a time today.
Commercial pools come with a logbook
California's public-pool rules cover apartment, condo, HOA and hotel pools (California Code of Regulations, Title 22, §65503).
The operator has to test chlorine and pH at least once a day and keep a written daily record for two years (§65523); for HOA and condo pools with fewer than 25 units, the minimum is twice a week, no more than four days apart (California Health and Safety Code §116048).
Customers call to ask if you came
The homeowner wants to know the visit happened, and the tech wants to report a pump that's starting to fail.
Both end up calling the same number, usually while you're elbow-deep in a skimmer.
What we do about it
Visits booked on the days you're in the area.“Did you come today?” answered.A reading log we can build.Billing that keeps up with the route.
Visits booked on the days you're in the area
Tell her on setup which days you work which neighborhoods, and she books cleanups, filter cleans and first visits into open slots on those days.
Each call's summary is waiting for you at the next stop.
“Did you come today?” answered
Victoria answers visit questions from the route status your team keeps updated, so a homeowner checking on today's stop gets an answer without a tech stopping work.
A reading log we can build
For commercial accounts, we can build a simple way for techs to report chlorine and pH by phone call or text at each stop.
Each reading lands in a dated record next to the level it has to meet: at least 1.0 ppm free chlorine, or 2.0 ppm with stabilizer (§65529), and pH between 7.2 and 7.8 (§65530).
Billing that keeps up with the route
Invoices with online payment mean a month of weekly visits doesn't turn into a month of chasing checks.
